It does, however, make the fact that eleven years later, the U.S. Constitution put Indians on an even footing, i.e., their special government-to-government relation with the new U.S. Government, and codified with two constitutional references, with Article 6 declaring treaties to be the supreme law of the land, of which over 350 were signed and ratified; none honored.Barbara Renicknoreply@blogger.com
