Jeanette Mott Oxford's partner ordained on Sunday

Dorothy M. Gannon - partner of State Representative Jeanette Mott Oxford - will be ordained as a minister in the United Church of Christ on Sunday, November 16, at 3 p.m. at Epiphany United Church of Christ in the Benton Park neighborhood.

Dorothy is currently a hospice chaplain and will continue in that ministry following ordination. She is a graduate of Aquinas Theological Institute in St. Louis and was formerly assistant director of one of the regional centers for the MRDD division of the Dept. of Mental Health.

Jeannette says, "It would be our pleasure if you attend. If you plan to come, please RSVP to the church at epiphanyucc.1@juno.com so that we can have adequate refreshments."

Directions to the church: From I-55 and Arsenal (right by the Anheuser-Busch brewery), go west on Arsenal. The first traffic light is Lemp (Gus’ Pretzels and a Shell Station). Continue west through that light. You will pass the corners of Salena and Wisconsin before coming to McNair on your right (north) side. Turn right on McNair and the church is up on the west side of the second block at 2911.
