Attorney General nomination hangs by a chad

The Missouri state primary of 2008 has a brewing equivalent of the hanging chad controversy.

According to a source in the Missouri Democratic Party, the party Unity event scheduled for tomorrow in Kansas City is being planned, at the moment, without a nominee for Attorney General.

Chris Koster's lead over Margaret Donnelly is down to 752 on the Missouri Secretary of State's unofficial count, and apparently there are more questionable or uncounted votes in St. Louis County.

Donnelly is entitled to a recount and may ask for it. She hasn' returned my calls today.
