Citizen journalist and man about town Michael R. Allen has allowed me to publish a poem of his to promote his upcoming poetry reading at Fort Gondo on Friday, Sept. 26.

I posted it up on the Poetry Scores blog, where it is doing double duty to bid up our Experiential Auction this Sunday (5-8 p.m.) at Atomic Cowboy.

Michael donated a tour of an abandoned building with a rooftop champagne toast. Michael knows more about abandoned buildings in St. Louis than you know about your mother.
