The victim, a 65 year old woman from Chesterfield, stated that while she was walking on the parking lot, a young black male wearing a white t-shirt and rag on his head pushed her and forcibly took her purse and new shoes she had purchased. The suspect ran to a white colored vehicle occupied with two other males and a female.
Witnesses concurred with the above details and added that the white vehicle was a Pontiac with no license plates but had a temporary tag in the rear window. The vehicle sped away from the scene.
Des Peres Police recovered the purse miles away at the West County Mall shortly after the robbery. Although the robbery did not occur at the Mall, video and pictures of the four subjects were provided to our detectives. The St. Louis County Police believe the subjects in this picture are connected to the robbery as they were in possession of and attempting to use stolen credit cards belonging to the victim.
