My neighbor presents on atheism at Sunday school

This morning I went around the corner to hear my neighbor, Andrew Shaw, give a presentation about atheism to his Sunday school class. This is something like what he (in eyeglasses) and one of his listeners looked like and some of what Andrew said. I plan to catch him every Sunday while I can.
The message was one of compassion and decency, or as he said, "winsomeness": You don't want to win an argument and lose a friend, you want to preserve the friendship and continue the conversation.

Amen.

Argue with strangers and let them change your friends mind. It is easier and less taxing that way.

I'm hearing that strategy for the first time!
